Twenty years of supporting international professionals moving to Germany, combined with my own experience of living between countries and cultures.
Today, I help people understand German immigration pathways, organize their practical next steps and approach the German job market with greater clarity.
Where it Started
I grew up between Germany and Yugoslavia, crossing borders and cultures before I was old enough to think of it as anything unusual.
I studied International Business at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart and spent part of my studies at San Francisco State University. Alongside my native German and Serbian, I am fluent in English. Each language and each place has shaped how I work with people moving between countries today.
Building a Bridge for International Talent
For 13 years, I worked as an integrated expert of the German Centre for International Migration and Development. I coordinated a government-supported program that enabled young professionals from the Western Balkans to gain practical experience in German companies.
During that time, I worked with more than 700 international professionals. I saw firsthand that moving countries is rarely only about getting a job and obtaining the right documents.
It also means understanding unfamiliar procedures, adjusting professional expectations, finding your place in a new labor market, and building a life from the ground up.
Founding My Own Consultancy
Since founding MINTtalents OÜ in 2020, I have supported international professionals with both immigration orientation and their job search in Germany.
I help clients understand immigration pathways and procedures, organize the information they have collected and identify practical next steps. At the same time, I support them with professional positioning, employer research, application strategy and a clearer understanding of the German job market.
This work has gradually developed into a broader range of job search services and products, including individual consultations, practical guides and curated employer research.
I am now also developing Expat Mentors, a new service that will connect internationals with experienced industry and HR professionals in Germany. It is designed for people who do not yet have an established professional network here and want practical insights from someone who already works in their field.
Why This Work Is Personal
I have experienced migration from both directions. I grew up between countries and later moved internationally again as an adult.
That experience taught me that relocation is not only an administrative process. It can affect your work, relationships, confidence and sense of belonging.
I combine that personal understanding with twenty years of professional experience. My role is to make complex information easier to understand, help you organize your next steps and be honest about the limits of what I can provide.

Clear and Practical
German immigration information can be difficult to navigate. My role is to explain published pathways and procedures in plain language and help you organize the practical steps ahead.
I focus on the information that matters for your plans and avoid making an already complicated subject more difficult than it needs to be.
Personal and Independent
You communicate directly with me. I prepare for every consultation myself and focus on the questions and information you provide in advance.
There is no call center, no change of contact person, and no need to repeat your story to different representatives.
Honest About the Limits
I do not promise visa approvals, job offers, or guaranteed outcomes. I also do not provide individual legal assessments or represent clients before German authorities.
When your situation requires legal advice, I say so clearly and recommend consulting a licensed German immigration lawyer. The same applies to tax matters and other specialist questions.
Connected to the Job Market
Immigration is often only one part of moving to Germany. Finding suitable work, understanding employer expectations and presenting your experience effectively can be just as important.
